Greek port strike ends

Dock workers at Greece's largest port have suspended a nearly three-week strike and allowed for further negotiations over a deal to allow Chinese company COSCO to operate two terminals, their union said Sunday.

It decided to suspend the strike after an agreement to delay the start of the deal, which was set for the beginning of this month. Workers fear the new operators will bring layoffs and that an influx of cheap Chinese goods will undermine the already shaky Greek family-owned store sector
